Federico’s career in the IT sector is marked by a blend of technical and strategic leadership. His journey began with a strong academic foundation, earning a Master of Science in Computer Science from EPFL, Lausanne, with a specialization in “Foundations of Software.” This educational background laid the groundwork for his subsequent engineering roles, where he has consistently demonstrated an ability to merge theoretical knowledge with practical application to build state of the art platforms and applications.
His professional development continued with early management experience at Post, where he assembled and led multiple international engineering teams, honing his skills in team building and project/program management. This experience was pivotal in his transition to leadership roles at Swisscom Health AG and later at Swisscom (Schweiz) AG. Here, Federico has been instrumental in driving the company’s transformation, fostering efficient collaboration, data-driven product decisions and adoption of modern cloud technologies. At Swisscom Health, he contributed to a new portfolio vision and led the development and the operations of critical health-care oriented SaaS products, ensuring they meet the increasingly demanding standards of security, scalability, and interoperability.
Federico joins Novaloop in 2025 as Managing Partner, where he combines his roles as a management consultant and senior software engineer. At Novaloop, he leverages his extensive experience to guide clients through digital transformation, focusing on strategic IT solutions that align with business objectives. His work involves not only consulting on management practices but also hands-on software engineering, ensuring that the solutions developed are both technically sound and strategically aligned. This new chapter in his career reflects his commitment to continuous growth and his passion for driving innovation in the software and IT landscape.
